Our hospital is equipped with the most up-to-date STORZ Lithotripter from Germany. The Lithotripter allows extracorporeal fragmentation of all types of urinary stones (kidney, ureteric and bladder stone). Treatment could be done on an out-patient basis taking an hour only. The stone fragments will be passed out spontaneously over the next few weeks after the procedure. For a small number of cases, more than one treatment sessions may be required.
